成果の概要

This business trip helps me expand my research network through a fruitful discussion at Ho Chi Minh City Space Technology Application Center (STAC), Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC), Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST). In Pursat province, Cambodia, I have gained insightful knowledge from a meeting with a leader of Focal Water User Group (FWUG). We have done water level sensor calibration with different settings to be able to acquire accurate data in the upcoming rice growing season. In addition, my research plan discussion with a professor and counterparts of University of Development Studies (USD) has been accomplished in Ghana. We have visited three reservoirs for ground check of the local agricultural system and water accessibility. Soil sampling methods are also designed for the data collection through a discussion with a lab staff of soil analysis laboratory supported by JIRCAS.
