成果の概要

During the field trip, I introduced my research plan and future work to local counterparts and project members. I also collected local information on the regional water irrigation system and rice-growing patterns at the project site. Additionally, we successfully installed a water level server, sensors, and a camera to gather accurate above- and below-ground water level data from the paddy fields at the project site. The real-time water level data collected by the sensors can be monitored and downloaded via a smartphone application officially supported by the company. The camera also provides validation of wa-ter level information for each field. This data will be used to train AI and machine learning models alongside remote sensing data, such as satellite and drone imagery, as well as LiDAR point clouds.
