成果の概要

To prepare for the smooth implementation of market surveys under Output 3 of the SATREPS Madagascar Project, I conducted a pre-test of the questionnaire with vendors in seven communes in the Boeny Region. Based on feedback from vendors, several sections of the questionnaire were revised. I then conducted training sessions for enumerators to ensure readiness for survey implementation. In the meantime, I inspected the target areas to request cooperation from local administrative agencies, including commune chiefs (or their deputies) and the regional director. In addition, I coordinated with counterparts regarding the survey schedule and institutional objectives, and consulted district chiefs in Vakinankaratra region to present the survey plan and gather information on local market regulations. Further market visits in the region provided additional field insights that contributed to the refinement of the questionnaire.
