成果の概要

In 2016 (November and December), On-farm trials for validation of Decision Support System (DSS) were set up in total of 12 communities in Lichinga and Nampula regions. I monitored the performance of participatory farmers on our assignments in both regions (Lichinga and Nampula). In addition, the instructions for soil sample collection technique to our counterpart researchers were conducted before the collection of soil samples from the on-farm trials to be performed during the socioeconomic survey. A preparation of plant and soil samples was done prior to chemical analysis. We discussed about the plans and activities which will be performed in　September and October. Moreover, I supported the activities of ProSAVANA-PI project such as presenting the DSS and related activities and on-going works to the representative of JICA
