成果の概要

Senegal: Meetings with the Institut Sénégalais de Recherches Agricoles (ISRA) counterparts reviewed and finalized soil incubation and pearl millet pot experiment protocols, with necessary materials, including consumables and biostimulants, prepared. The ISRA Director General signed the MoU with JIRCAS, previously signed by the JIRCAS President. Outsourcing contracts for joint research were prepared.
Ghana: Field trials implemented under the TERRA Africa project were inspected, and no issues were identified in their progress. As the cropping season had just begun, initial soil samples were collected, while sampling during the vegetative growth stage remained to be conducted.
