成果の概要

In Ghana, I participated in the closing ceremony of the African Upland Farming Systems project and reported on the effects of cropping systems and cultivation methods on soil microbial communities in the humid savannas. I then reviewed the 2025 TERRA Africa data with counterparts and identified priority trials requiring accelerated microbial analyses ahead of the 2025 TERRA Africa activity report [February–March 2026].
In Madagascar, we established field trials under Output 2 of the SATREPS project at the Antohobe and Antanatibe sites in the Antsirabe region. These include vermicompost and rhizobia inoculation trials on common bean.
