成果の概要

(1) The stakeholders meeting was held at Bhairawa research station of NARC (Nepal Agricultural Research Council), where the BNI-wheat field trials are conducted. Several delegates from Nepal Agricultural Research Organization attended this meeting. Several BNI-elite wheat lines showed better growth under various nitrogen treatments (from low to high N inputs) compared to their non-BNI controls.
(2) A discussion was done at ICRISAT, related to ex-ante analysis of BNI-sorghum along the lines of BNI-wheat research and to expand BNI-research to pearlmillet. Another discussion was done at IIMR (Indian Institute of Millets Research) for fingermillet-BNI research.
