成果の概要
Ghana: During this trip, we collected soil, plant, and xylem sap samples from the soybean field at Savanna Agricultural Research Institute (SARI). The assessment method of N2-fixation in soybean was established at University for Development Studies (UDS) using the collected xylem sap samples, and the flow of future activities has been discussed with counterparts.
Burkina Faso: Soil samples were collected from the sorghum field experiment set at National Institute of Environmental and Agricultural Research (INERA) Saria station, which investigates the effect of phosphate rock-improved composts on sorghum growth. While instructing the associated student, the DNA of the collected soil samples was extracted and used for molecular analysis.
