1358. Agrifood System Technologies & Innovations Outlook (ATIO)

1358. Agrifood System Technologies & Innovations Outlook (ATIO)
This week, the Agrifood System Technologies & Innovations Outlook (ATIO) will be launched at the World Food Forum in Rome.
ATIO is an information catalog of technological innovations in the agri-food system, developed by stakeholders including grassroots innovators. ATIO aims to support policymakers and all stakeholders in the agri-food system in making evidence-based decisions on prioritizing technological innovations to accelerate system transformation. To this end, ATIO covers technological innovations at all stages of the agri-food system and related sectors globally, crowdsources reliable information to ensure comprehensive coverage, and leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to integrate and categorize technological innovation information.
JIRCAS participated in the online consultation to confirm the ATIO prototype specifications and contributed to the discussions based on its experience in creating a technology catalog for the Green Asia Project.
The JIRCAS International Symposium 2025, to be held on October 27th, will focus on the activities of the Green Asia Project, and will feature a panel exhibition and an introduction of the technologies listed in the Technology Catalog at the venue.
