Also today, online registration for another official TICAD 8 side-event “Managing African Soil for Food Security and Environmental Sustainability: Opportunities and Challenges of Agronomy to Solve Low Fertility/Nutrient Bottlenecks”, opens at 10:00 AM (JST). This JIRCAS organized event will be held on August 30, 2022. In this event, researchers who have been working on the development of technologies for soil and fertilization management with the goal of social implementation on the ground in Africa, together with private companies and NGOs working on fertilizer development and dissemination, will discuss the challenges of improving sustainable food production in Africa.
