This year, it was held for 10 days from August 11-20 at the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center in Nonthaburi Province. During the event, there were approximately 200,000 visitors, mostly local elementary, middle and high school students.

The Bangkok-based Southeast Asia Liaison Office of JIRCAS has been a consistent participant in this event since 2007. With only a brief interruption during the COVID-19 pandemic, JIRCAS's consistent presence has contributed significantly to the success of the fair, alongside esteemed organizations such as the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the Cabinet Office.

At the fair, JIRCAS showcased the results of its international research collaboration with Kasetsart University's Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), focusing on the traditional Thai fermented rice flour noodle, khanomjeen. A captivating picture book on khanomjeen, meticulously designed by JIRCAS to explain its findings and presented in the Thai language, was well received by visitors.

The grand opening of the fair was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Don Pramudwinai. During the prestigious award ceremony, Dr. Sirirung Songsivilai, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, presented JIRCAS with a well-deserved trophy in recognition of the organization's invaluable contributions to science and technology education in Thailand.
