The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), a group of scientists assessing the state of scientific knowledge related to climate change, has released a Special Report on Climate Change and Land (SRCCL)  summarizing the impact of climate change on desertification, land degradation, sustainable land management, food security, and greenhouse emissionsin terrestrial ecosystems,on August 8, 2019  in Geneva, Switzerland.
