Foods from local landscapes provide an important source of nutrition and livelihoods for local communities in Africa and Asia.

This seminar will invite experts to share their insights and experiences in the application of science and traditional knowledge to foster the utilization of foods obtained from local landscapes for improved nutrition and livelihoods.

The objective of this seminar is to identify the challenges as well as opportunities to unlock the potentials of local food diversity in meeting the nutritional, environmental and economic needs of target communities while preserving their genetic resources and cultural values.

The hybrid format will offer an opportunity for in-depth discussion and exchange of opinions with researchers, students, extension specialists, government officers etc. engaged in international food and nutrition security agendas and projects. We look forward to your participation.
