Thank you so much. I would like to make a very short remarks at the ending of this JIRCAS Symposium.
I’d like to express sincere gratitude for attending this symposium. I believe we could share the information
and realization concerning trends of international rice research.
From yesterday, we have made deep discussion on various issues, firstly “ From Genome to Rice-Breeding
Research”, secondly “ Rice production in Africa” and thirdly “ Sustainable Rice Production in Asia”.
Additionally, we have now discussed about the effective collaboration or effective capacity building of these
areas. I think the discussion has a significant meaning for deep understanding of the condition of rice
research.
I hope every participant could obtain many fruits from this symposium and enjoy these 2 days. Thank you
