A report on the seminar "The Forefront of Agricultural Research or the Promotion of Resource Recycling in Ishigaki” jointly hosted by JIRCAS and Ishigaki City is now available. The page also includes answers to questions received on the day of the seminar regarding the nitrogen cycle, fertilizer application methods, sugarcane cultivation, and earthworms in the soil.

This seminar was held to introduce the effectiveness of resource-recycling agriculture and the current status of related research and to promote discussion on the possibilities and key issues of resource-recycling agriculture on Ishigaki Island through the exchange of opinions among stakeholders, with the aim of fostering partnerships. We will continue to value opportunities for dialogue with those who do farming and who live in farming areas.
