The International Rice Blast Workshop "Applicable Solutions Against  Rice Blast in Asia" was jointly organized by the JIRCAS and the Food and Fertilizer Technology Center for Asian and Pacific Region (FFTC) on September 18, 2020 (https://www.jircas.go.jp/en/reports/2020/r20200926).

The proceedings of the workshop have now been published as a collection of papers. The proceedings summarize the discussions at the workshop, including the status of blast incidence and research results in Asian countries, the results of the rice blast research network research conducted JIRCAS since 2006, and future research directions using these research results and genetic resources.
