The "cut soiler," a new subsoil breaker introduced and operated in northern states of India under the collaboration project of JIRCAS and the Central Soil Salinity Research Institute (CSSRI),  was featured in The Tribune, an Indian e-newspaper on July 4, 2019.

The "cut soiler" technology was developed by JIRCAS for salinity reclamation.
