The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Japan, Mr. Godwin Nsude Agbo visited JIRCAS on July 1, 2015 for exchange of information on agricultural research activities and discussions on future research targets in Nigeria.

In addition to the introduction of the research achievements of JIRCAS, the Ambassador was briefed on research programs on stable food production and rural revitalization. The discussions with JIRCAS researchers focused on continuing cooperation and future collaboration on agricultural research in the country. This visit provided a good opportunity for the Ambassador and other embassy officials to understand JIRCAS research activities.
