We intend to build a ‘Food Resources Research Network’ in Asia. The network shall include foreign and domestic companies as well as research institutes, and will examine local food resources. New research themes will be sought at research organizations in Thailand and China as base. And, we will implement extensive projects, re-evaluate previous empirical data, bearing in mind that our research outputs will be used in the industries.
Regarding technology development, we will utilize technologies intensively, and promote high value-addition to traditional agricultural products or conventional processed foods, by enhancing their functionality or their macromolecular components.
