The Governor of the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, visited JIRCAS on September 3, 2019 and met with JIRCAS President Masa Iwanaga and executive staff to explore potential collaboration that would contribute on agricultural production and food value chain.

The Governor of the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, visited JIRCAS on September 3, 2019 and met with JIRCAS President Masa Iwanaga and executive staff to explore potential collaboration that would contribute on agricultural production and food value chain. During the meeting, Dr. Yoshinori Murata, Senior Researcher of the Biological Resources and Post-harvest Technology Division, gave a presentation on production of livestock feed from cassava pulp used for ethanol fermentation.

JIRCAS and TISTR are both pursuing a wide range of research in food production and climate change. Addressing problems related to these research areas require technological cooperation that can be achieved by joint research collaborations.
