The SATREPS project for developing high value-added technologies to abandoned oil palm trunks was discussed as an example of ongoing research collaboration of JIRCAS in Malaysia. Opinions were exchanged for the development of future cooperative relationships, such as providing interactive information on research activities in agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
