SATREPS Oil Palm Trunk Project’s Technological Achievement “PALM LOOP®" Adopted as Interior Material for Osaka-Kansai Expo
At the Panasonic Group pavilion, “Nomo no Kuni," at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, the innovative “PALM LOOP®"—developed through the SATREPS Oil Palm Trunk (OPT) Project—has been adopted as an interior material for the VIP reception room, showcasing a significant technological achievement.
JIRCAS Showcases Research Achievements at “MAHA 2024,” Malaysia’s Largest Agricultural Exhibit
The 2024 Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture & Agrotourism Show (MAHA 2024) was held from September 11 (Wed) to 22 (Sun) at MAEPS Serdang in Malaysia. MAHA, organized by the Malaysian Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (MAFS) and held every two years, is one of the largest agricultural events in Malaysia. This year, the exhibition attracted a record number of approximately 5.51 million visitors.
