A group of children participating in the  “Life Science (Li-Sci)” program  came to JIRCAS on March 27, 2018 as part of the tour event organized by the Tsukuba Science Tour Office. A JIRCAS staff gave a brief lecture on some research activities including research on fermented foods in Laos and research on algae used as foods. The children were deeply impressed by the small creatures that are related to life.
