JIRCAS Science Online 2026 — Past Lectures & New Videos Now Available

In conjunction with Science and Technology Week (April 13–19, 2026), the Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS) will host a special online event, “JIRCAS Science Online 2026: Bringing Research Results to Future Society.”

In conjunction with Science and Technology Week (April 13–19, 2026), the Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS) will host a special online event, “JIRCAS Science Online 2026: Bringing Research Results to Future Society.”

This event, marking the launch of JIRCAS’s new medium- to long-term plan, will primarily feature short lecture videos by researchers, presenting research findings and cutting-edge initiatives in an easy-to-understand way. From popular past lectures to the latest research topics, a wide range of themes will be available online.

Regarding in-person public events, a major event is planned from summer to autumn. The popular annual “Tsukuba Little Scientists” (“Chibikko-hakase”) program will also be held, with preparations underway to make it even more engaging.

April 17 (Fri) – May 1 (Fri), 2026
Note: Videos will remain available even after Science and Technology Week. New videos will be added as they are completed.
