A delegation from the Faculty of Economics, Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand, including Dr. Suwimon Hengpatana (Assistant Dean), Dr. Hiroyuki Konuma (Visiting Professor), Dr. Nantarat Tangvitoontham (Assistant Professor) and graduate school students, visited JIRCAS on November 28, 2019. 

During the meeting, the research on quality control of traditional fermented food, and co-culture of black tiger shrimp and sea weeds were introduced as examples of the research activities of JIRCAS in Thailand. In addition, there were exchange of views and information on how to optimize pesticide use in Thailand, which was a main concern of the delegation.
