From September 15 to 17, 2026, the VaryAla project team exhibited at an agronomy fair held at the École Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques (ESSA), University of Antananarivo, where they showcased the project’s activities.

Over the three-day event, the VaryAla booth welcomed more than 150 visitors. Many students showed a strong interest in research and asked not only technical questions about the project’s research activities but also sought advice on academic and career paths that would allow them to continue pursuing research. The project researchers took the time to respond to their questions and offer guidance.

The fair also provided researchers with an opportunity to present their own research and exchange ideas with colleagues from different fields, with whom they do not often have the chance to interact. It was a valuable occasion for fostering interdisciplinary exchange and encouraging further research activities.
