JIRCAS Holds Online Open House
－Science and Technology Week, April 18-24, 2022－

As part of public relations activities for fiscal year 2022, JIRCAS will hold the Open House from April 18 (Mon) to 24 (Sun), to introduce its research activities to the general public.
 
All activities this year are organized online as a precaution to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. A special website has been set up for the general public, and contents that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, such as mini lectures by research staff and stamp rally quizzes are available. In addition, a live panel discussion will be held on the theme of "Changing Africa: Field Researchers' Views on Agriculture and Food in Africa” on April 24 (Sun) at 1:00 PM.
 
We hope that this event will be an opportunity to further deepen the relationship between JIRCAS and the general public, and that the research and other information disseminated by JIRCAS will be useful to the public and provide an opportunity to understand international agriculture, forestry, and fisheries research.
