TARF Holds Briefing and Tasting Session of the New Passion Fruit Variety “Sunny Shine”

A briefing and tasting session for the new passion fruit variety "Sunny Shine" bred by the JIRCAS Tropical Agriculture Research Front (TARF) will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2009 with various activities including introduction of the new variety, tasting of the fresh fruit and tour of the cultivation field. |
Overview
The JIRCAS Tropical Agriculture Research Front (TARF) will hold a briefing and tasting session for the new passion fruit variety "Sunny Shine" bred on July 11 (Tue), 2017. An application for variety registration of this variety was filed on March 28, 2016, and the application was publicized on June 28, 2016. Seedlings are expected to be available from seed companies from this summer. As an opportunity to introduce the new variety "Sunny Shine", we are going to hold a briefing and tasting session for people involved in tropical fruit tree production as follows.
