JIRCAS Online Open House 2021
JIRCAS will hold an online Open House from April 12th (Mon) to 18th (Sun) 2021, to introduce and disseminate its various research activities to the general public.
All activities this year will be organized online as a precaution to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. A special site for the open house has been set up for on demand streaming of mini-lectures to be presented by research staff, aerial videos featuring agriculture and the environment in Africa, and other fun activities that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
The special mini-lectures on the food system and transboundary insect pests will be streamed live on April 17th (Sat) from 14:00 ~ JST (advance registration is required). These online events offer the unique opportunity for the general public to learn more about the research programs of JIRCAS and have a deeper understanding of international agriculture, forestry and fisheries research.
