Researchers from Can Tho University, Vietnam, Visit JIRCAS
On March 28, 2024, Associate Professor Tran Sy Nam and Researcher Huynh Van Thao from the College of Environment and Natural Resources, Can Tho University (CTU), Vietnam, paid a courtesy visit to President KOYAMA Osamu and exchanged views with JIRCAS researchers. With a history of cooperation spanning more than 30 years, JIRCAS and CTU have been conducting joint research since the 1990s and have been jointly implementing a comprehensive climate change project since 2021.
Project Leader Izumi Receives Certificate of Appreciation from Can Tho University, Vietnam
Dr. IZUMI Taro, Project Leader of "Climate Change Measures in Monsoon Asia," was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from Can Tho University, Vietnam, on November 30, 2023, in recognition of his extensive contributions to collaborative research over the years.
