TICAD 30th Anniversary Official Side Event
“Toward Building a Sustainable and Resilient Food System in Africa”

Agricultural development in Africa requires an appropriate approach that recognizes and respects diversity in agricultural production and food consumption. This event will introduce issues related to agriculture, forestry and fisheries in Africa, Japan's contributions to them, the history and current status of international joint research, and research needs. Then we will discuss the diversity of agriculture, things to consider, and future international joint research.
