Padina sanctae-crucis Børgesen

The plants are flat, flabellate and 2 cells thick throughout, and grow up to 10 cm tall. This species is similar to other species of Padina that are two cells thick, such as P. australis and P. minor however the sori are indusiate in this species. The plants are found on rocks in subtidal zones along shorelines with moderate wave exposure.
