成果の概要

At JIRCAS in Tsukuba I had project meetings for the MAFF-Germany project (令和５年度戦略的国際共同研究推進委託事業のうち二国間国際共同研究事業（ドイツとの共同公募に基づく共同研究分野）) with project members to finalize the semi-annual report to MAFF and to plan activities for the final half year in Japan and the remaining 15 month of the German partner ZALF. In India I participated at the 20th International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics (ISRFG2023) and delivered an invited lecture in the plenary session. I further visited the National Institute of Plant Genetic Resources (NIPGR) in New Delhi to discuss possible collaborations on root development and resource acquisition with faculty members.
