Mango is a member of the poison oak family


Mango is a typical tropical fruit. It is a fruit tree of the genus Mangifera in the family Anacardiaceae and its scientific name is Mangifera indica L.
 In recent years, in addition to imported fruits and vegetables, mangoes have also been produced in Japan as well, and have become a familiar fruit not only for consumption but also for a variety of processed products. The pulp (mesocarp) is juicy with a unique aroma and rich sweetness, and contains a large amount of β-carotene and folic acid, which are converted into vitamin A in the body.
