Method
1. Mix in a bowl ground beef with salt in a ratio of 4-5:1
2. Add cooked rice and mix the ingredients well.
3. Separate into portions and tightly wrap in banana leaves or put in a large bowl and cover with a cloth Leave to ferment at room temperature for 3-4 days.
Consumption
Local people eat Som-neua raw with fresh garlic, chilli pepper and some vegetables, as a main dish.
