Mt. Maetake has an elevation of 263 m above sea level. The path is relatively well maintained, probably due to the presence of NHK and commercial TV towers near the summit. We recommend taking the secondary trail, which has a gentle slope that splits off to the right before the steep main route. There is a side path to the scenic summit just before the radio towers, but it may be difficult to find.
