Hirano Beach is located to the east of Hirakubo Lighthouse, and Urasaki Beach is located further east, a total distance of about 2km. Heading toward Urasaki Beach from the Hirano Beach parking space (for a few cars), you will cross a creek on the way, which might be the border between the two beaches. There is a detached rock at the eastern end of Urasaki Beach and the area between the detached rock and the land is a rather deep channel, which is separated from the open sea at low tide. This part is also called "Urasaki's Paradise Sea Pool".
