A delegation from Indonesia's PT PG Rajawali I, led by Dr. Nanik Soelistyowati, Operations Director, and 10 accompanying members, paid a visit to the Tropical Agriculture Research Front (TARF) on November 14, 2023. PT PG Rajawali I, located in Surabaya, is a prominent state-owned sugar company in the Republic of Indonesia.
 
During the visit, Dr. TERAJIMA Yoshifumi, Senior Researcher at TARF, gave an insightful presentation on the sugarcane genetic resources maintained at the research station. He explained his ongoing research, which focuses on the development of sugarcane varieties tailored for sustainable productivity improvement in challenging environments by utilizing wild genetic resources.
