A promotional video of the SATREPS “Project for Breakthrough in Nutrient Use Efficiency for Rice by Genetic Improvement and Fertility Sensing Techniques in Africa” is now available on the JICA Madagascar "Fy Vary Project" YouTube channel.

 

A promotional video of the SATREPS Project for Breakthrough in Nutrient Use Efficiency for Rice by Genetic Improvement and Fertility Sensing Techniques in Africa, also known as the FY VARY (FertilitY sensing and Variety Amelioration for Rice Yield) Project is now available on the JICA Madagascar "Fy Vary Project" YouTube channel.

The current Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Madagascar also appears in the video, introducing the phosphorus dipping technology (P-dipping) for fertilizer application (Press release on April 23, 2020) and new rice varieties developed in the project (Press release on November 26, 2021).
