A workshop for joint research between the Institut de Recherche Agronomique de Guinée(IRAG) and JIRCAS was held on November 7, 2018 at the JIRCAS Headquarters in Tsukuba.  The workshop was organized to start a specific effort to improve rice productivity in Guinea. Three participants from IRAG and nine JIRCAS participated in the workshop and research activities based on needs and seeds were discussed.
